FIDE Championship Singapore

In 2024, we had the honour of creating a limited edition chess set for a historic moment in the world of chess: the Singapore World Chess Championship. Commissioned by the Singapore Chess Federation, these exclusive sets were gifted to the tournament’s sponsors, serving as timeless symbols of gratitude and legacy.

Skyline Chess set

Inspired by our original Singapore edition, we introduced design adaptations to reflect the unique spirit of the event. The knight was replaced with the iconic Parkview Square, and the map screen-printed on the board was reframed to highlight the Resort Sentosa, the heart of the championship. Each board also featured a custom-engraved plaque with a personalised message, turning every gift into a bespoke keepsake.

The youngest World Champion

The championship itself made history: 18-year-old Gukesh Dommaraju became the youngest-ever undisputed world champion in the open category, defeating reigning champion Ding Liren after 14 unforgettable games.

FIDE World Championship 2021

This wasn’t our first time crossing paths with the World Championship. In 2021, Dubai set was gifted on the occasion of the Dubai FIDE World Championship, where Magnus Carlsen successfully defended his title against Ian Nepomniachtchi.
