Modern luxury chess sets with architectural character

Architecture, not ornament. Skyline Chess sets are designed by architects and built from materials chosen to last — hand-finished bronze, precision-cut stainless steel, and Italian Carrara marble. Each piece is a scaled replica of a real building. No novelty. No imitation wood. Just the kind of chess set that earns its place in a room.

Luxury bronze collection

Our flagship editions. Each piece is hand-finished and weight-forward, with a patina that only improves with time. Every skyline is designed by architects and cast for collectors who want permanence—an object you keep, not upgrade. Limited production runs, individually numbered.

Stainless Steel Metal Chess Sets

Prefer something modern and everyday-playable? Our metal editions are solid, satin-finished, and engineered for clean lines and satisfying weight—without the fragility of decorative sets. Choose stainless steel pieces with a wooden board, or pair any edition with marble for a more architectural finish.

FAQ

Each set is housed in a luxury presentation box with bespoke high-density foam inserts, ensuring secure transit and long-term archival storage. The shipment arrives as a complete unit, integrating both the weighted architectural pieces and their designated board.

Carrara marble boards are available as a premium pairing for all architectural ranges, providing a 4kg hand-polished base that enhances the set's physical presence. These 400mm x 400mm boards feature felt-lined undersides to ensure stability and protect your furniture surfaces.

Bronze pieces are hand-cast via the lost-wax technique, offering a substantial 8.05kg total set weight and a warm, tactile patina that matures over time. The stainless steel and powder-coated metal editions provide a modern, lighter feel with a sleeker, brushed or matte finish.

Avoid acidic liquids and abrasive cleaners to prevent etching the porous Carrara marble; a soft, damp cloth with pH-neutral detergent is sufficient for routine maintenance. Ensure the board is dried immediately after cleaning to prevent water spots and preserve the natural lustre of the stone.

Private commissions allow for the total customisation of the chess narrative, including the transformation of specific skylines or individual properties into hand-cast pieces. This collaborative process involves direct design consultation to define material selection, scale, and artisanal finish for a unique functional art piece.
